Have you all seen this site? It's fantastic if you like Etsy; it lets you see item view, hearts, etc. Good for your own shop, but also fun to look at other shops' stats!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I sure did! I went home again and me and my mom went to some city wide garage sales. It was fun. I also got to check out her new car, and I'm happy to report it's great! I've been focusing a lot of time and energy into Deerly, and I have to admit I really enjoy it. It's fun to play with beads, and take pictures of them! Who wouldn't like that? Here are some new beads I just listed--
I just love flower beads. I use them a lot, and was really happy when I found these pretty lucite ones.
Now it's some show and tell time. I told you before I was very lucky with my birthday presents! I wasn't kidding. Here are some fun new things to play with --
I also wanted to share some of the wonderful things LeeAnn sent my way. I don't want this post to be too picture heavy (which it already is!!), so I'll just share a few things. She was way to generous! So thanks again!!
Isn't this gorgeous!? This is a Jenn Maruska business card holder, and it's so beautiful. Just the little details, like the soft wool and ribbon make it so perfect.
Happy Birthday to me!! I'm 25 today...
I've got free shipping at DeerlyNeeded today! See, I know how to party! Haha.
I work fast...remember my idea? I made it work! Check out my supply shop on Etsy! It's called Deerly Needed. I'm still working on loading tons into it, but it's so fun already!
Yesterday I said I had some great news to share about my mom. She got a new job! And not just any job, a fantastic one...much better than the last one. So yay! Congrats! And some other news...
A brand new car! (Having a favorite daughter ((me of course)) working at a certain financial services corp for a certain car brand doesn't hurt.) She deserves this too. She has been driving a mini van for years and years and needed a cute car, and now just happened to be the best time. I can't wait to see it in person!
Congratulations all around!!!
I'm mulling over some new ideas for lindsey marcella jewel. Probably nothing that you guys would really be interested in...but something that could be very exciting and fun to do. We'll see!
Birthday weekends are the best!
My birthday is this Thursday, but I went home this weekend to celebrate early. It was very nice, especially dinner with everybody on Saturday. I also got to go to an antique show (just so-so, when it's usually awesome) and shopping with Mom. (who has some big news and excitement coming up!)
And what goes along with celebrating? Presents? Great, thoughtful, perfect presents? Yep! I will have lots to share, especially a really nice package from LeeAnn. But tonight I thought I'd share what my sweet brother and sister did. I was home with Cosmo, and Mark told me he was going to take Katherine to the store to shop for Father's Day. Little did I know they were shopping for me as well! They're 16 and 15, so it was just a really nice gesture and surprise. Look what they picked out:
A cute card, 2 books they selected all on their own, a dog grooming murder mystery (!), the original Ring book, and a pack of fun erasers. Thanks, guys!
Also, I wanted to wish Dad a Happy Father's Day!!! Thanks for coming with us, and I hope you had a good time!
OK, OK, 2 posts in one day is a lot. But I wanted to post this now as a head's up. Etsy-ers have created the first ever "YART" (yard, art) Sale starting tomorrow June 11 running through June 20. I have added some items to the YART Sale because I think it's a great idea! I listed them today, so you can hop on over there for a sneak peek. Here are some items marked down, with more to come later in the week!
You can also search tags/titles on Etsy for other great YART Sale items!
Cosmo is doing much better. He has to either stay on the couch with us, or in his crate. I have to admit it's a little boring sitting on the couch, but it's worth it. He has to go outside for mini walks three times a day, adding more time each week. He's starting to put his leg down already, which is pretty good!
Derek and I found this fantastic new-ish fabric store near us. It's sew cute! Haha. I would post a link, but I just tried their website listed on their card, and it doesn't seem to be an actual site. Maybe it's in the works. If you're in/near Columbus though, you should definitely check it out- it's called Sew to Speak and it's on N. High Street.
Do you like the scarf I made? I love summer scarves, but I have a hard time finding cute ones. So I've put this one here!
