It's ready!
I made a new camera case and lens cozy so I could write up what I did into a little tutorial.
Please feel free to download the tutorial below. I like a tutorial with lots of pictures, but if something isn't clear please let me know. Please feel free to do what you'd like with the bag/cozy if you make one. And remember - even if you don't have a digital SLR this bag is also great as a clutch! Or add straps, or just use your imagination! If you do make one please let me know either by e-mail or in the comments because I'd love to see it!

Love this. I too have been looking for a pattern to make a DSLR case and could not find one...shocking! Thanks so much for posting this - it will save me a lot of time, as I thought I was going to have to create my own!

Hi Sandi,
Thanks! I know what you mean - I had been looking all over for a tutorial myself
and couldnt find one either. I needed it for a trip so I just figured that I might as
well make one! Let me know if you decide to put one together.

Thank you so much for this tutorial!! We are leaving tomorrow for a trip and I didn't have a case for my new lens. I found your tutorial and put it all together with scraps from other projects. LOVE IT!!! It is the perfect size and best of all... free!! Thanks again.
