Everyone who is expecting a baby at work is due around the same time, so this is the last little baby thing for awhile. This is a cute, free pattern on Ravelry. I love it, but the center owl doesn't quite line up with the v-neck, which I don't think a toddler will mind!
The owls are all little cables. Some people have embroidered them/one to make them really stand out as owls, but I thought it was cute as is. Love the green color!
The size is about 9-12 months (ish). People generally complain about picking up stitches, but I enjoy it, so the neck and arms were fun to knit. I did knit the neckband backwards from the instructions though, because it didn't make sense for me to do it the other way - it would have made a seam on the outside not the inside.
Now onto some selfish knitting.
