I have dedicated today to jewelry! Yay!
First I am happy to say that Judith has received her giveaway package from me! I am glad it made it's way to Germany safe and sound. I had taken pictures, but Judith also has posted some, so if you would like to see her stash, you may take a peek here.
Today, my goal was to see what I could come up with using the crystals I had on hand. This is sometimes fun and sometimes a challenge. Today it was quite fun. My most popular piece to date by far is this multi colored crystal necklace. I have even had people by more than one because each one is a little bit different. I wanted to offer some more options, so I've made 6 more monochromatic necklaces:
Now I need to design some new tags because of my new color scheme! That should be fun.
Here is a kit I have put together, just for a simple bracelet. My goal with this first kit is to teach basic stringing and finishing techniques. With the chain, it is adjustable, so it's good for anyone.
Here's the bracelet and the closed kit.
Here's the opened kit, showing the snap top compartments for the materials. I love them; I found them at the Container Store. Next up for these guys are front and back labels using sticker paper, and of course an instruction sheet!
(Update: I just found out I wasn't accepted for Craftland...I'm a little bummed, especially after my fun jewelry day today...)
